The Herd waits for the return of light. Creatures of urban nature in Pasadena CA have suffered deeply from the terrible winds we have had. Whole urban populations of birds and small insects and animals have been injured - destroyed or left to starve because of the loss of seeds - various tree and ground growths. One homeowner observed several hundred Hummingbirds line up peacefully for a chance to drink from a Hummingbird feeder for the red flowers that the Hummingbird feeds on have been eliminated by the truly wicked winds.
