Homage to Rock Art

This weekend I received a CD disk of beautiful photographs of Rock Art from a location in California. Rock Art has been meaningful to me at a number of times in my career. The well photographed images I was given sent me back to my books and research in such images that I did several decades ago. So - some new "Homage" images will be appearing on my site.

The ground continues to shake here in Southern CA from Sunday's 7.2 earthquake at the Mexican Border but - spring growth - flowers - bugs - flying things that come with Spring seem to be blossoming everywhere.

Happy April 5 to you. After the 7.2 earthquake this afternoon in Baja - the birds continued to sing. It was felt - where I live - as a gentle but rather long period of rocking and rolling. Rocking in my Rocking Chair is a pleasurable activity but seeing one's entire home - walls and furnishings - rocking - is still shocking to my East Coast/Philadelphia mentality. Nothing broken so we hope this will continue with any further "rocking" - its a part of living in CA.
