A new series from my latest research on the Silk Road. The only continuity of ownership of the goods was by the bugs and butterflies who chose to live in the products as they were passed from hand to - village to village on the Silk Road from the West through China to the East. Another "Journey".

Animal Journeys

A new series of drawings about Journeys - Journeys by groups. The generic groups may be called: bevy - brood - parade - parliament - safe - skulk or turmoil (thanks to Oxford English Dictionary) depending on the type of animal. As a group - as do we as human beings - they journey from one place to another. As humans - our journeys may be of the mind but they are valid explorations of the unknown.
